Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Fair Family Farms, a leading-edge large dryland cropping and livestock operation located in central NSW at Lake Cargelligo, is currently seeking a fit, enthusiastic, and experienced Farm Hand to primarily oversee our livestock operations and support the overall farming activities. This is a long-term permanent position, not suitable for seasonal or temporary workers. Applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents, as we are not sponsoring overseas candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize safety and adhere to our W,H & S policy & procedures.
  • Manage approximately 5,000 Dorper ewes and 100 head of cattle with progeny.
  • Conduct livestock activities approximately 3 days a week, with remaining time spent on general farm duties as needed.
  • Operate farm machinery and undertake various general farm duties.

Position Requirements:

  • Committed, honest with a strong work ethic.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work additional hours when required and effective communication skills.
  • Safety-minded, able to take and understand direction, and work well in a team or individually as necessary.
  • A 3-month probation period will be applicable for these positions.
