Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented Farm Hand to join our dynamic team at Warrening Gully Farm. As a key player in our operation, you will be actively involved in the day-to-day running of the farm, with responsibilities including seeding, spraying, and harvest activities. While prior experience in these areas is desirable, we are also open to candidates who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and grow in the role.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating modern large-scale farming equipment equipped with precision ag technologies.

Assisting with cropping activities such as seeding, spraying, and harvest operations.

Conducting animal husbandry tasks, particularly with our merino flock.

Implementing and adhering to work health and safety systems and procedures.

Participating in farm maintenance tasks and ensuring machinery is well maintained and clean.

Demonstrating a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills as part of our team.

Requirements:

Prior experience in farming, particularly in cropping and/or animal husbandry, is advantageous.

Confidence in operating and maintaining large-scale farming equipment.

Familiarity with modern agricultural technologies and practices.

Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills and a willingness to take direction.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
