Role Overview:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Vegetable Harvesting Staff on a casual basis, with the potential for future full-time employment. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, harvesting vegetables by hand, and ensuring our produce meets the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manual harvesting of vegetables, adhering to quality and maturity standards.
- Sorting, grading, and packaging of harvested produce.
- Assisting with the operation of farming machinery and equipment (with provided training).
- Compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Active participation in a multicultural team environment.
Requirements:
- No prior farming or market garden experience necessary; comprehensive training will be provided.
- A current New Zealand driver's license.
- Legal right to work in New Zealand.
- Reliable personal transport is preferred.
- Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in all conditions.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team.
