About Us:

Frith Farming Co. is a family-owned, mixed farming operation spanning four farms in Wallumbilla, Roma, Surat, and Dulacca, Queensland. We are currently looking for an experienced and self-motivated Farm Hand to join our positive team. This is a permanent, full-time position, ideally suited for individuals seeking a long-term commitment to our family-oriented farming enterprise.

Position Overview:

As a Farm Hand at Frith Farming Co., you will be an integral part of our broad-acre farming operation. This role involves various responsibilities, including spray rig operation, tractor and machinery operation, livestock handling, fencing, and general maintenance. We value team players who can work independently when required and have mechanical knowledge and skills advantageous for our farming practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spray rig operation and application of agricultural chemicals and fertilizers.
• Tractor and machinery operation.
• Livestock handling.
• Fencing.
• General maintenance.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience as a Farm Hand or in a similar role.
• Sound understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S/WHS).
• Current Australian driver's license.
• Ownership or regular access to a car.
• Mechanical knowledge and skills advantageous.
