Programmed Skilled Workforce is proud to collaborate with a leading Australian agricultural organization, currently seeking a dedicated Farm Hand to join their mixed cattle and broadacre cropping property on a FULL-TIME PERMANENT basis. Our client is committed to managing valuable assets with skilled individuals, providing an opportunity for you to enhance your skills in both livestock and broadacre cropping.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Farm Hand based at the Kaiuroo Aggregation near Dingo, Central Queensland, and reporting to the farm manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Establishing crops, including bed preparation, fertilizing, sowing, and cultivation.
• Crop management, including herbicide and pesticide application.
• Operating broadacre farming plant and equipment, such as airseeder, precision planter, self-propelled spray unit, and other farming machinery.
• Maintaining plant and equipment.
• General farm duties, including fencing, repairs, and maintenance.
• Meeting work health and safety requirements.

Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• Physical fitness to meet the demanding requirements of the position.
• A current driver’s license.
• Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development.
• Precise, safe, and sensible work approach as directed.
• Flexibility and availability to work varying hours based on operational demands.
• Previous experience in broadacre farming and machinery operation is highly regarded but not essential for candidates displaying the right attitude.

• Above award base hourly rate, ranging between $27.44 and $29.52/hour, depending on skills and experience.
