As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Dairy Farm Assistant.

Position Overview:

As a Dairy Farm Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our dairy farm. This position involves a variety of tasks, including milking, animal health treatments, effluent disposal, feeding stock with a tractor, weed control, and general maintenance. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience, be reliable, honest, and possess a full license. We are particularly interested in individuals who can be trained to eventually run the cowshed and manage daily farm activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Milking and monitoring the health of dairy cows.
• Conducting animal health treatments and effluent disposal.
• Feeding stock with a tractor.
• Performing weed control and general maintenance.
• Potential to be trained to run the cowshed and oversee daily farm operations.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Dairy Farm Assistant (preferable).
• Must pass a drug test.
• Full license preferred.
• Reliability and honesty are highly valued.
• Ability to be trained for a leadership role.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
