Position Overview:
As a Farm Assistant at Julian Farms LTD, you will play a vital role in supporting our daily operations. This position is temporary and involves covering time off on a 5/2 roster, with Wednesdays and Thursdays off, working approximately 30 hours per week. Your responsibilities will include morning and afternoon milkings, as well as general farm duties such as maintaining fences, weed spraying, and other essential tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct morning and afternoon milkings.
- Engage in general farm duties, including breaking fences, weed spraying, and other tasks as assigned.
- Operate a quad and/or 2-wheeler for various farm activities.
- Adhere to the 5/2 roster schedule, with Wednesdays and Thursdays off.
- Collaborate with the farm team to ensure the smooth operation of daily tasks.
Qualifications:
- Experience in farm-related work is advantageous.
- Proficient in driving a quad and/or 2-wheeler.
- Ability to follow a 5/2 roster and work approximately 30 hours per week.
- Physical fitness and adaptability to outdoor work in different weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
