Cassini Cellars, an esteemed winery located in Oliver, BC, is actively seeking Seasonal Full-Time Vineyard Workers to join our dedicated team. If you possess a passion for viticulture, a strong work ethic, and hands-on experience in vineyard operations, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Deleafing: Efficiently perform deleafing tasks to ensure optimal vine health.
• Shoot Positioning: Skillfully position vine shoots for growth and vineyard maintenance.
• Soil Fertility Programs: Assist in soil fertility programs to enhance crop quality.
• Suckering: Execute suckering techniques to maintain vine vitality and productivity.
• Tying: Carefully tie vines in accordance with vineyard requirements.
• Weeding: Conduct weeding operations to preserve vineyard cleanliness and health.
• Fertilization and Crop Spraying: Apply fertilizers and crop sprays following established procedures.
• Harvesting: Participate in the harvest process with precision and efficiency.
• Disease Detection: Monitor and identify diseases or health issues affecting crops.

Requirements:

Experience: 2 to less than 3 years of hands-on experience in vineyard-related work.

Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.

Physical Capabilities: Ability to perform physically demanding and repetitive tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Availability: Full-time commitment for seasonal employment.

Work Conditions:

• Work Hours: 48 to 66 hours per week, combining sitting, standing, and walking.
• Physical Demands: Involves physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
