Responsibilities:

As a Store Person at our Rakaia Store, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and successful operations of our cooperative. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Bulk Fertilizer Handling: Blend bulk fertilizers and operate heavy machinery to meet customer needs efficiently.
2. Order Processing: Process computerized orders and provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction.
3. Sales: Engage with customers, selling products, and offering technical advice to support their farming operations.
4. Stock Management: Utilize our stock management and ordering system efficiently, maintaining accurate inventory records.
5. Health and Safety: Prioritize a 'safety-first' attitude, adhering to health and safety protocols in all aspects of work.
6. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team, follow instructions, and contribute to the overall success of the cooperative.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer-focused role, with a background in general store/yard work.
• Ability to operate a front-end loader and forklift is advantageous (training provided).
• Comfortable using a tablet/computer for stock management and ordering.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-friendly approach.
• Commitment to health and safety practices.
