As we expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Livestock Farm Hand to join our team.
Job Description:
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Livestock Farm Hand to play a pivotal role in our growing business. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of animal husbandry, including daily checks, feeding, marking, vaccinating, drafting, joining, and mustering cattle. In addition to the key responsibilities mentioned earlier, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Hold a current Australian driver's license.
- Previous livestock experience with cattle is essential.
- Good time management skills demonstrating efficiency.
- Reliable, honest, motivated, positive, trustworthy, and a team player.
- Ability to self-start and work independently.
- Take pride in their work and enjoy working in agriculture.
- Advantageous but not essential: Chem-Cert, LPA, NLIS, and/or First Aid training (on-the-job training can be provided).
- Ability to work with large mobs of cattle in a low-stress environment.

- Salary package, including on-farm accommodation and amenities (power/water).
- 40-hour work week with a level of flexibility; alternative weekend roster agreed upon between staff on the property.
