Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Farm Worker for our hog operations. As a Farm Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the care and management of hogs, ensuring the health and well-being of our animals.
Responsibilities:
- Feeding, watering, and monitoring the health of hogs
- Cleaning and maintaining hog facilities
- Assisting with breeding and farrowing operations
- Administering medications and vaccinations as required
- Operating farm machinery and equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hog farming or related agricultural work is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor
- Basic knowledge of animal husbandry practices
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with a standard workweek of 40 hours. Overtime may be required during peak seasons.
