Wannon Pastoral Company, a leading livestock farm running Wairere Romney Sheep and Angus Cattle, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Casual/Vacation Farm Hand to join our team in the picturesque region of Hamilton, Horsham & Grampians, Victoria. We need an extra pair of hands to help us during the busy summer period with livestock and general farm work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the care and management of our livestock, including Romney Sheep and Angus Cattle.
• Feeding, watering, and monitoring the health and well-being of the animals.
• Participation in breeding and calving/lambing operations.
• Operating farm machinery and equipment, as required.
• Engaging in general farm maintenance and repair tasks.
• Collaborating closely with the farm team to ensure the overall success of our operations.
• Strict adherence to safety and animal welfare guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous practical work experience as a Farm Hand is required.
• Passion for agriculture, especially in the context of livestock management.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.
• A current Australian driver's license is preferred.
• Adequate English language skills.
