Job Description:
Our client, based in the lower Hunter Region, is seeking experienced Farm Labourers for a Poultry Shed Clean Out project. This role involves working with live chickens, operating machinery switch boards, and using industrial cleaning equipment. The primary responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and maintenance of equipment and sheds.
- Use of shovel and wheelbarrow to remove manure.
- Operating industrial floor cleaning equipment (pressure cleaners and air compressors).
Requirements:
- Available to start work on Monday, 20th November at 6 am.
- Willing to attend an interview and WHS induction in Wallsend 2287 before starting (Zoom & Online options available).
- Reliable with a positive attitude towards work.
- Availability for Saturday and Sunday shifts, as well as additional hours when required.
- Own steel cap work/gum boots.
- Have a car and a valid driver's license.
- Prepared to work as part of a team.
Additional Information:
- Ongoing work of 38 hours plus overtime.
- Candidates not permitted to have contact or live on a property with any form of poultry, birds, or pigs within 72 hours of a shift.
- No accommodation provided.
- No public transport to the area.
- Not classified as regional work.
