As part of our commitment to sustainability, we are currently seeking dedicated Harvest Drivers to join our well-organized harvest crew for the peak season from mid-November to March.

Position Overview:

As a Full-time Harvest Driver at Watties, you will play a crucial role in our harvesting operations. Working closely with our experienced Agricultural and Engineering Team, you will operate harvest machinery and ancillary equipment, ensuring the highest attention to quality and safety. This is a 24/7 operation, and you will be responsible for staff transport as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate harvesting machinery efficiently, ensuring the highest attention to quality and safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of harvest machinery to ensure continuous 24/7 operation and the delivery of the best-quality product to the factory.
• Work collaboratively with your harvest team, Agronomists, and factory staff.
• Work six days a week, 12-hour shifts (4am-4pm or 4pm-4am) during the peak season.

Qualifications:

• Class 2 Full Licence with ‘W’ (wheels) endorsement is a must.
• A can-do attitude and great reliability.
• An interest in agriculture and the ability to learn to operate heavy machinery.
• Motivation and physical fitness to work 12-hour shifts.
