We are currently seeking a dedicated Construction Maintenance Worker to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Responsibilities:

The incumbent will play a pivotal role in maintaining and repairing the water and wastewater collection systems. Responsibilities include operating various equipment for maintenance and repair work, such as sewer cleaning equipment, water pumps, trucks, backhoes, etc. Additional duties involve supporting the installation and maintenance of water boxes, water taps, sewer taps, and repairing the same. The role also entails minor repairs to various electrical equipment. As a lead worker, the candidate will provide on-the-job training, assist other employees, inspect work, report defective materials or conditions, perform grounds and housekeeping duties, maintain daily logs and time sheets accurately, and adhere to safety regulations. The role requires 24-hour on-call availability for emergency maintenance and repair after normal working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a maintenance position related to water and sewer lines, pump stations, water distribution, and/or wastewater equipment operation, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record and CDL A required.
