About the opportunity
Farmlands in Marton is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Retail Salesperson. This part-time position offers 16 hours per week and plays a crucial role in serving our shareholders and customers in the agriculture and rural sector.
In this exciting role, you will:
- Provide exceptional retail sales and customer service to our valued shareholders.
- Offer expert advice on a range of sheep and beef, dry stock, and general agricultural products.
- Operate a point of sale (POS) system with proficiency.
- Manage administrative tasks, including stock ordering and receipting.
- Ensure our products are well-restocked and displayed.
About you
We're looking for an individual who embodies a positive attitude, is eager to learn, and can engage with a diverse range of people. While experience in the farming sector and knowledge of agricultural products are advantageous, we are willing to train the right candidate. Additional qualifications include:
- Retail sales or customer service skills and experience.
- Sound computer skills.
- Physical fitness, as the role involves lifting and manual handling tasks.
