We are currently seeking a Production Operator to join our team at our La Bonne Cuisine site in East Tamaki, New Zealand.

The Role:

We are looking for a Production Operator to be a part of our team at La Bonne Cuisine in East Tamaki. As a Production Operator, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently manage your area of the production process. You will be responsible for setting up the area correctly, operating machinery, and ensuring the quality of our products. This role is physically demanding and involves handling 25kg meat products in our Pate Department. You will work from Monday to Friday, 5.30 am to 2 pm, with some flexibility around these hours.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate manufacturing machinery.
• Perform quality checks and maintain production documentation.
• Ensure a clean workplace and set up machines for different product setups.
• Keep equipment maintenance up to date and address issues when needed.
• Record machine breakdowns and maintain effective communication with the team.
• Adhere to safe work practices at all times.
• Ensure product safety throughout the production process.
• Perform tasks such as lubricating, tightening, and cleaning machines.

Your Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Background in the food industry or as a machine operator.
• Able to work in a cold food manufacturing environment.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift weights.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Numerical skills.
