Job Description:

We are seeking a part-time Forestry Timber Labourer to join our team. As a Forestry Timber Labourer, you will be an essential part of our small family farm, engaged in various general labor tasks, including pruning, planting, and cutting small trees. Your responsibilities will involve operating hand and power tools, such as chainsaws, and ensuring the work areas are clear and safe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general laboring tasks, including pruning, planting, and cutting small trees.
• Operate hand and power tools, such as chainsaws.
• Clear and maintain work areas.
• Maintain safety and environmental protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• Car license is required, and having your own transport (4x4 or high clearance) is desirable.
• Ability to work in a remote location.
• Willingness to work outdoors, with approximately 90% of work done in outdoor settings.
• Physical fitness and stamina for labor-intensive work.
• Previous experience on a farm or in a remote location is an advantage but NOT essential.
• This job is suited to both male and female applicants.
