We are currently seeking an experienced farm worker to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

As an Experienced Farm Worker at JSP Farms, you will play a vital role in our agricultural operations. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable working in an agricultural setting, capable of physically demanding tasks, and have the skills and experience necessary to thrive in this environment. Your duties will include:

• Planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops following precise instructions.
• Operating and maintaining various farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, grain carts, combines, and more.
• Monitoring and irrigating fields, as well as overseeing water levels.
• Applying fertilizers, pesticides, and chemicals as directed.
• Assisting with livestock care, which includes feeding, cleaning, and milking.
• Performing general farm maintenance tasks, such as fence and building repairs.
• Sorting and packing harvested crops for transportation.

Qualifications:

• A valid driver's license (Class 1A preferred).
• Previous experience in operating and performing basic maintenance on tractors, augers, pumps, semis, combines, grain carts, and grain vacuum.
• Comfortable with cleaning bins, mowing grass, and spraying weeds around yard sites.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities.
• Ability to use hand tools and operate machinery safely.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and the ability to work long hours outdoors.
• Attention to detail in following instructions and maintaining accuracy.
