Are you a dedicated and experienced Farm Supervisor looking to join a dynamic team in the heart of British Columbia's beautiful agricultural region? Sanghera Blueberry Farms is seeking a passionate and skilled individual to oversee our thriving blueberry farm operation. As a Farm Supervisor at our Surrey, BC location, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success and productivity of our farm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures.
• Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting blueberries.
• Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers.
• Develop work schedules and establish procedures.
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed.
• Maintain livestock performance records.
• Maintain quality control and production records.
• Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
• Maintain work records and logs.
• Hire and train staff.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Perform general farm duties.

Qualifications:

• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant farm supervision experience.
• Experience with blueberry farming is a plus.
• Familiarity with feeding and watering systems, as well as tractor operation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in agriculture or related field is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of farm equipment, irrigation systems, and agricultural technology.
• Understanding of soil management, fertilization, and pest control methods.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license.
