Job Description:

Milburn Creek is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our team. As a Farm Hand, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our farm. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

• General ground works.
• Mowing and whipper snipping.
• Tractor usage and pasture work.
• Weed spraying.
• Fencing repairs.
• General plumbing repairs.

Additional Duties:

• Assisting with the care and management of livestock, including feeding, watering, and health monitoring.
• Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with crop production, planting, harvesting, and maintenance.
• Fence repair and maintenance.
• Supporting other farm-related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working on a farm is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Proficiency in mowing, whipper snipping, tractor usage, and pasture work.
• Experience in weed spraying.
• Strong skills in fencing and plumbing repairs.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for agriculture and a commitment to sustainable and ethical farming practices.

Requirements:

• Must be a team player as you will be working within a small farming crew.
• Enjoy working outdoors and fully versed on Work Health and Safety best practices.
