Job Description:

As an Apiary Worker at Honey Onyx Apiary, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our apiary during the peak season. You will work closely with our experienced beekeepers to ensure the health and well-being of our bee colonies and assist in various tasks related to honey production and beekeeping.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with hive inspections and routine maintenance.
• Monitoring and managing honeybee health and colony strength.
• Assisting with honey extraction and processing.
• Operating and maintaining beekeeping equipment.
• Assisting with queen bee rearing and colony splits.
• Participating in general farm and apiary maintenance tasks.
• Collaborating with team members to achieve daily production goals.
• Adhering to safety protocols and best practices for beekeeping.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in beekeeping or agriculture is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and beehive components.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Passion for beekeeping and a genuine interest in honey production.
