Job Description:

Are you passionate about bees and the natural world? Knudsen's Honey is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Apiary Workers. As an Apiary Worker, you will play a crucial role in the care and management of our bee colonies, ensuring their health and productivity. This is a seasonal position that offers the opportunity to work closely with bees and gain valuable experience in the beekeeping industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the apiary, including hive inspections and maintenance.
  • Monitor and assess the health and well-being of bee colonies.
  • Assist with the extraction and processing of honey.
  • Participate in the feeding and treatment of bees as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the apiary equipment and work area.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in beekeeping or a strong interest in learning about beekeeping is preferred but not required.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
