We are seeking dedicated Vegetable Farm Workers to join our team at Sunnyside Produce in Surrey, BC. As a farm worker, you will play a crucial role in planting, cultivating, and harvesting a variety of vegetables, contributing to the success of our farm.

Work Site Environment:

• Wet/damp
• Odours
• Dusty
• Hot

Tasks:

• Grading
• Planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops
• Fertilizing and spraying crops
• Harvesting crops
• Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
• Detecting disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
• Examining produce for quality and preparing for market
• Performing general farm duties

Type of Crops:

• Bell peppers

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• Bending, crouching, kneeling

Work Term: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week
