Brownrigg Agriculture, a prominent family-owned business located in the picturesque Poukawa valley, just 20 minutes south of Hastings, operates across cropping, post-harvest facilities, and livestock. Our crop fields span from Tikokino to Ocean Beach, Clive, and Fernhill, with squash, maize, and onions as our primary cash crops.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate modern John Deere tractors for various cropping tasks.
• Ensure the quality and efficiency of ground preparation, planting, cultivation, and harvest.
• Embrace technology and precision agriculture practices.

• Collaborate with a passionate team of agronomy experts, mechanics, engineers, and experienced machinery operators.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of ONE year of tractor operating experience in cropping (groundwork/harvest).
• Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving history (FULL license required).
• Strong work ethic and practical problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology and precision agriculture.
• Initiative and commitment to health & safety.
