About the Role:

We are currently accepting applications for a Store Person to join our team at the bulk fertiliser store in Gisborne. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in maintaining machinery for optimal performance, ensuring the best support for our farmers/shareholders. This position involves forklift and/or front-end loader operation, customer service (in-person and over the telephone), order processing, and some office work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and front-end loaders safely and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Perform various warehouse and yard duties, including product blending, dispatching, and housekeeping.
• Learn and utilize computer-based stock management and ordering systems.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.
• Contribute to a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience in forklift and front-end loader operation with relevant licenses (WTR ideally).
• Previous customer service experience.
• Mobile plant driving experience.
• Positive and collaborative attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Excellent telephone manners.
• Physical fitness and mechanical aptitude.
