What You Will Be Doing:

• Select appropriate materials such as natural stone, bricks, or manufactured stone to achieve desired outcomes.
• Cut, shape, and polish stones using hand tools and power tools.
• Lay stones with precision, ensuring proper alignment, leveling, and mortar application.
• Repair and restore existing stone structures, matching existing patterns and finishes.
• Collaborate with the project team to meet deadlines and ensure project success.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others on the construction site.

What We Require:

• Previous experience as a stonemason, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Previous experience with Heritage work is ideal.
• Proficiency in various stone masonry techniques and tools.
• Solid knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the job.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Certification in stone masonry or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Valid Site Safe - we can assist with this.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
