We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Stock Manager to join our team at Duncraigen Farm, a picturesque 1100 ha property located close to Te Anau, with the Waiau River and Fiordland National Park as its boundaries. This farm is known for its stud Angus bull breeding and commitment to excellence in livestock management.

Job Description:

As a Stock Manager at Pamu Farms, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our sheep and beef farming business at Duncraigen Farm. You will work closely with the Farm Manager to ensure the efficient planning and execution of farming operations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate stock data, recording and reporting, optimizing farm performance, and utilizing farm management software like Farmax and Farm IQ. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate recording and reporting of stock data.
• Collaborate with the Farm Manager to plan and execute farming operations.
• Maintain farm data records through Farmax, Farm IQ, and other relevant tools.
• Continuously improve farm processes to enhance performance.
• Work with a team of capable dogs for stock management.
• Foster a commitment to high standards of quality and safety.
• Embrace and utilize new technology for efficient stock management.
• Maintain a valid NZ driver's license.

Qualifications:

• Solid experience in sheep and beef farming.
• Passion and enthusiasm for stock management.
• Strong attention to detail for record-keeping and data management.
• Effective time and people management skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Ability to adopt and utilize new technology.
• Full team of capable dogs for stock management.
• Current & full NZ driver's license.
