About the Role:

Our client, a prominent player in the gambling industry, is seeking a Senior GoLang Engineer to join their team. This is a Brisbane-based hybrid role with a flexible workplace arrangement. Depending on your experience, they are willing to offer a competitive salary of up to $155,000 plus super.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create robust, scalable, and clean GoLang code.
• Take ownership of new features and code development.
• Mentor junior and mid-level GoLang engineers.
• Develop and implement new code while maintaining existing code.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes.

About You:

• Proven experience working with GoLang in a senior capacity.
• Previous experience with JavaScript technologies, particularly ReactJS.
• Knowledge of GoLang best practices.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience or knowledge of the gambling industry is ideal but not required.
