Our mixed enterprise Waygu Stud and Broadacre farm in Millmerran, QLD, is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Advanced Farmer to join our team.
The Role:
As an Advanced Farmer, you will become an integral part of our small and close-knit team, responsible for managing our picturesque 7000-acre farm with fodder and grain crops. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on our 2000-acre high-quality grazing country at our full-blood Wagyu Stud, gaining valuable experience in cattle handling. This role offers autonomy, challenges, and a chance to contribute your skills and expertise to our thriving farming operations.

About You:
To thrive in this role, you should share our passion for farming and be eager to gain experience in Wagyu Stud work. You take pride in your work, exhibit a strong commitment to team and animal welfare, and possess the following qualifications and qualities:
- Extensive farming experience, including planting and spraying.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure tasks are executed to a high standard.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to monitor pasture conditions and seasonal trends.
- Competence in chemical handling.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Previous cattle handling experience is an advantage.
