Job Description:

As a Project Manager at Hawke's Bay Airport, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and leading projects from inception to completion. This will involve engaging with key stakeholders, including airport staff, to develop optimal solutions. Your success in this role will depend on your ability to define clear goals, plan effectively, maintain open communication, manage risks, monitor progress, ensure safety and quality control, and streamline project management methodologies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee projects in alignment with Hawkes Bay Airport's goals and vision.
• Engage with stakeholders to develop and implement optimal project solutions.
• Define project goals and objectives, ensuring they are met on time and within budget.
• Maintain open and transparent communication with project teams and stakeholders.
• Manage risks effectively and ensure safety and quality control throughout projects.
• Streamline and implement project management methodologies and processes.
• Oversee compliance with building and engineering standards.
• Manage and lead teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure familiarity with resource and building consent processes, construction, and contract tender documents.
• Contribute to design engineering, architecture, and construction processes.
• Utilize your practical experience and relevant qualifications to drive project success.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Well-organized and structured Civil, Building, Construction, and/or Engineering Project Manager.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience in managing and leading teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Knowledge of resource and building consent processes, construction, and contract tender documents.
• Practical experience in design engineering, architecture, and construction.
• Relevant qualifications in project management or related fields.
