Job Description:

Join our small and dedicated team on our free-range broiler farm! No prior poultry experience is necessary, but we're seeking individuals with energy, fitness, and a strong work ethic. As a Free-Range Broiler Farm Worker, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring the well-being of our birds and the success of our farm.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to Australian Biosecurity, RSPCA, and FREPA standards.
• Walk sheds to identify and remove unthrifty birds.
• Adjust feed and drinker lines as needed.
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of machinery and grounds.
• Operate equipment such as tractors and mowers.

Requirements:

• Must meet biosecurity requirements (no birds, pigs, or feathered animals at your home).
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to drive a manual ute.
• Own reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must have a valid Australian work visa with full work rights.

Salary:

Starting from $28.50 per hour

Job Type:

Casual

Shift Schedule:

Flexible arrangements, typically starting between 7.00 am - 7.30 am and finishing between 11.30 am - 3.30 pm. Willingness to work weekends and public holidays when required.

Location:

Our 14-shed farm is located in Mount Cotton (Redland Bay district).
