About the Role:

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Post-Harvest Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Mernda, Victoria. This role reports directly to the Harvesting Manager - Victoria. As a Post-Harvest Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing teams of runners and weighers, ensuring the precise, safe, and efficient achievement of production targets. You will also manage workflow issues to ensure the timely delivery of mushrooms to meet the demands of both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly operational plans.
  • Address daily workflow challenges to maintain efficient production lines.
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders to ensure daily production targets are met on schedule.
  • Manage labor costs and costs per kilogram within budgetary constraints.
  • Administer roster management and attendance tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP and SQF procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Identify and rectify safety hazards as necessary.

About You:

  • Desirable supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Previous experience in the food or FMCG industry preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement.
  • Working knowledge of OH&S, HACCP, and SQF standards.
