Job Description:

As an Orchard Worker at J and D Edwards Partnership, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our orchard's high standards. We are hands-on owners looking for a team player who shares our passion for agriculture, a love of the outdoors, and a desire to grow alongside our orchard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking fruit when it's at its best.
• Safely transporting fruit and materials.
• Pruning and caring for trees and hedges.
• General orchard maintenance and farm work.
• Assisting with sheep-related tasks.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Strong communication skills and an open approach.
• A valid New Zealand driver's license (we have two tractors and a Ute).
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
• An understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.

Desired:

• Familiarity with tree maintenance.
• Manual driver's license.
• Basic knowledge of plant and farming machinery maintenance.
