About Us & The Role:

At Trev, we're revolutionizing farm data management in New Zealand, aiming to become the go-to farm reporting and productive insights tool. Our platform is dedicated to improving farm productivity, sustainability, and profitability. As we embark on this mission, we're in search of a Mobile Application Developer who will play a pivotal role in building and enhancing our mobile applications from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality, efficient, and reliable mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
• Engage in the entire mobile application development lifecycle, from concept to delivery, testing, and release.
• Craft clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO to design and implement new mobile application features, ensuring seamless integration and conducting rigorous testing.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical issues through testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Contribute to transitioning legacy applications to align with our current product and development strategy.
• Stay current with the latest mobile development trends, tools, and technologies, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Experience and Skills:

• Ideally hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a Mobile Developer or Full Stack Developer, with a portfolio showcasing mobile application expertise.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices is a plus.
• Prior experience in a greenfield role or startup environment is advantageous.
• Proficiency in mobile application development for both iOS and Android platforms using React Native.
