Rombola Family Farms, a leading horticultural business with operations in Nericon, NSW, and Mataranka, NT, is seeking dedicated Maintenance Electricians to join our dynamic team. We supply melon and pumpkin products year-round, making us a key player in the industry.
Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Electrician at Rombola Family Farms, you will be responsible for conducting routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and breakdown maintenance on our packaging infrastructure and associated equipment, including Compac graders, box erectors, and bin tippers. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our production processes as we continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, inspect, service, and perform repairs on packaging infrastructure and associated equipment.
Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications to plan operations.
Maintain meticulous maintenance and repair records.
Connect and test wiring and cables, as well as install electrical switchboards.
Use electrical test instruments for fault diagnosis.
Promote a clean and safe work environment.
Participate in housekeeping programs.
Perform general maintenance and cleaning duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Certificate III or IV in Electrical Engineering or a minimum of 2 years' experience in agricultural electrical machinery maintenance.
Experience with produce graders (MAF Roda, Compac) or similar vision grading systems is highly advantageous.
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Flexibility to work extended hours during peak harvest periods.
Proficient knowledge of WH&S requirements.
Valid Car License.

An attractive remuneration package based on qualifications and experience, with a salary range between $63,000 and $90,000 plus superannuation.
