Job Description:

As a Java Backend Developer at Epicon, you will be part of our fast-paced technology operations center, tackling complex challenges and driving innovation. Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based backend systems, contributing to the success of our projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend systems and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Implement RESTful APIs and ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Conduct software testing at various levels, including unit testing and system/integration testing.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD), refactoring, and work with existing design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Leverage strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration within a diverse team environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate a self-starting attitude, high personal drive, and a positive mindset.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of expertise in Java development.
• Strong experience with SQL and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).

• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., PHP, Go, Java, C/C++, C#, Python, or JavaScript).
• Knowledge of REST APIs.
• Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting skills.
