The Role:

Join our well-organized harvest crew for peak season – mid Nov to March!

This is an exciting time to be involved in a large-scale project, harvesting our nutritious crop in Christchurch. As a Harvest Driver, you will drive our pea harvesters and work closely with our experienced Agricultural and Engineering Team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating harvest machinery efficiently, with the highest attention to quality and safety.
  • Routine maintenance and cleaning of harvest machinery to ensure a continuous 24/7 operation and the supply of the best quality product to the factory.
  • Collaborating with your harvest team, agronomists, and factory.

Your Skills:

  • Class 2 Full License with 'W' (wheels) endorsement.
  • A can-do attitude and great reliability.
  • An interest in agriculture and the ability to learn to operate heavy machinery.
  • The motivation and physical fitness to work 12-hour shifts.
  • An educational background in agriculture or engineering will be highly regarded.
  • Enjoy working autonomously, but within a friendly and supportive harvest team.
  • Adaptive to different harvesting conditions, environments, and surroundings as we move from one farm to another.
