Job Description:

As a Glasshouse Worker at GK Farming, you will be an integral part of our horticulture team, primarily working with our tomato crop in our modern glasshouse facilities. Your responsibilities will include tasks such as picking, de-leafing, pruning, clipping, and twisting. We are looking for individuals who are willing to work extended hours and can collaborate effectively with their colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking, de-leafing, pruning, clipping, and twisting tomato plants in the glasshouses.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members to achieve production goals.
  • Ensuring a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand is a must.
  • Previous experience in horticulture or agriculture is advantageous but not required.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work in a greenhouse environment.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work well with others and follow instructions.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
