Job Description:
As a Forklift Operator at Rombola Family Farms, you will play a crucial role in supporting our harvest operations. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for various tasks, including bins' receival, weighing, packing, transporting, loading produce into cool rooms and trucks, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Timely loading of trailers.
Proper stacking of bins in groups of 3.
Loading the cool room as directed.
Staging loads per instructions.
Ensuring clear and flowing cool room drains.
Loading and unloading bins on scales.
Preparing pallets and cardboard for bin makers.
Conducting daily forklift checks and equipment inspection.
Ensuring accurate weights in bins and seedless.
Bin and seedless cleaning.
Finishing goods with pallet caps.
Applying and verifying bin labels.
Ensuring accurate Pack Manager entries.
Loading trucks as directed.
Requirements:
Current unencumbered Driver's License.
Forklift license.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
Strong teamwork skills, collaborating effectively with diverse backgrounds.
Adherence to rules and procedures.
Flexibility in working hours to meet operational targets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
