About the Role:

We are currently offering multiple opportunities in Commercial Finance, where you will work closely with our dynamic commercial teams in New Zealand, including Sales, Marketing, and Category. As a Junior Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing finance processes related to our ANZ P&L and their impact on our company's financial performance.

We embrace diversity and welcome candidates without an FMCG background who are eager to learn and possess approximately 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Examples of Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in compiling monthly performance forecasts and conduct financial trend and variance analysis reporting.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Trade Spend functions.
  • Ensure the completion of the forecasting cycle and communicate any risks or opportunities to management.
  • Provide essential financial analysis to support decision-making, modeling, and scenario building for the P&L.
  • Collaborate on initiatives to drive process improvements and cost-saving opportunities for company operations.
  • Manage pricing and customer deductions.
  • Review statements and reconcile accounts.

About You:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role, or experience in Accounts Receivable/Payable/Reconciliation/Analysis.
  • Must have full and ongoing work rights in New Zealand at the time of application.
