About the Role:

Wilmar's Cane Farms are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on individual to fill a Permanent Farm Hand position based at Gibson Creek Farm, approximately 25 minutes south of Proserpine. This role requires someone who is self-motivated, eager to learn about sugarcane farming operations, and open to professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate tractors and perform general tractor driving tasks.

Assist with irrigation activities (experience is beneficial).

Engage in row cropping activities (experience is beneficial).

Basic maintenance and mechanical skills (beneficial).

Contribute to the day-to-day farm operations.

Requirements:

Driver's License "C Class" (training provided for suitable candidates).

General tractor driving experience.

Irrigation experience (beneficial).

Row cropping experience (beneficial).

Basic maintenance and mechanical skills (beneficial).

HR Class Driver's License (highly regarded).

Good communication skills (written, spoken, listening).
