Job Description:

As a Farm Worker at AMAKB FARMS, you will play a crucial role in the success of our blueberry farming operations. You will work closely with our experienced farm team to ensure the health and productivity of our blueberry crops. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers competitive pay and the opportunity to work in a dynamic agricultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clipping, pruning, and maintaining blueberry bushes.
• Training fruit trees to optimize growth and yield.
• Planting, cultivating, and irrigating blueberry crops.
• Tying plants to support structures as necessary.
• Weeding to maintain the cleanliness of the fields.
• Harvesting blueberry crops at the peak of ripeness.
• Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

• Fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work under pressure during peak seasons.
• Involves repetitive tasks.
• Handling heavy loads, especially during harvesting.
• Physically demanding work.
• Attention to detail is crucial.
• May require sitting, standing for extended periods, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
