Job Description:

The Mitolo Group is looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Harvest Farm Operators to join our team for the Virginia Harvest season. This is a casual position with a duration of 6-8 weeks, starting late October. As a Harvest Farm Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our potato harvesting process.

Key Responsibilities:

Harvester Operator's Tasks:

• Set up and safely operate harvester machinery.
• Provide direction to harvester crews.
• Conduct routine inspections of harvested produce.

Trailer Bin Operator's Tasks:

• Hold a High Risk License (Forklift).
• Safely operate a tractor towing a large produce bin alongside the harvester.
• Perform daily pre-operational checks.

Basic Requirements:

• Australian work authorization (Australian Citizenship/Residency or valid Australian Work Visa).
• Current South Australian Driver's License (preferred).
• Good communication skills to liaise with farm managers and harvest crews.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work safely and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Willingness to work across 7 days/nights of the week, including evenings and nights due to hot weather conditions.
