About Us:

SS Citrus Supply is a family-run business with over 700 acres dedicated to producing high-quality citrus, avocado, and pomegranates. We take pride in our commitment to excellence, from growing citrus to packing it in our state-of-the-art packhouse. We are currently searching for a dynamic and experienced Citrus Farm Manager to lead our team and ensure the ongoing success of our farms.

The Opportunity:

As the Citrus Farm Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing operations at both of our farms, located approximately 20km from Mildura, Victoria, on the NSW side of the border. You will be responsible for ensuring production, quality, and cost-effective management are consistently achieved. Working closely with Directors, Agronomists, and other support resources, you will lead our team to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all aspects of daily farm operations, including irrigation, fertigation, pest control, and harvesting.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of farm machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Implement effective crop management practices to optimize yield, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate record keeping and timely replenishment.
• Ensure meticulous record keeping to comply with annual audits.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• At least 5 years' experience in farm leadership roles.
• Understanding of Citrus Production is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Chemical User Certificate.
• Current Australian driver's license.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
