We are an established family farm located in Euston, New South Wales, specializing in the production of various dry land and irrigated crops. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Farm Machinery Operator to join our team and contribute to all aspects of our farming business.

Job Description:

As a Farm Machinery Operator at our family farm, you will play a vital role in our agricultural operations. Reporting to the manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating modern GPS-guided agricultural machinery for tasks such as crop preparation, planting, spraying, and harvesting.
• Managing pivot irrigation systems.
• Handling grain and operating forklifts.
• Performing mechanical and general farm maintenance.
• Demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and maintaining equipment.
• Collaborating with the team and showing initiative in your work.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

• Proven experience in tractor operation.
• Physical fitness and practical ability.
• Strong teamwork skills with a proactive approach.
• Effective communication skills.
• A valid driver's license and your own vehicle for commuting.
• Preferred qualifications: Minimum HR license, forklift license, and Chemcert (chemical handling certification).
• Previous experience with self-propelled spraying and a truck license is advantageous.

Our farm is conveniently located, with just a 10-minute commute to work from Euston or Robinvale. If you're coming from Mildura, it's just an easy one-hour drive on a good road. You can also arrange your weekly work schedule to have more free time when your weekly tasks are complete. Schools and essential amenities are available in Euston and Robinvale, with additional services in Mildura.
