Position Overview:

As a Machinery Operator/Farm Hand, you will work closely with the farm owner to coordinate and oversee daily farming operations. While prior experience in agricultural machinery operation is preferred, we are willing to train candidates with transferable skills. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on responsibility, enjoys being part of a productive team, and values quality and efficiency in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operation of agricultural machinery, including spraying.
• Perform day-to-day farming tasks typical of a large cropping enterprise.
• Opportunities for skill development in broad-acre farming, with training provided as needed.
• Maintain quality control during all operational periods, especially during peak seasons.
• Equipment and property maintenance.
• Adherence to a strict zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol in the workplace, including random testing.

Qualifications:

• Strong team player with a focus on contributing to a positive workplace culture.
• Desire to learn and a commitment to ongoing learning within the team.
• Positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for farming.
• Experience in modern farming practices is desirable but not mandatory.

• Structured working hours for work/life balance, with 45 hours per week (excluding seeding and harvest seasons) and time in lieu available during peak seasons.
