Job Description:

As a Machinery Operator at Warakirri Cropping, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating farm machinery for tasks like spraying, paddock preparation, planting, spreading, cartage, and harvest.
  • Utilizing the latest equipment and innovative technology to monitor crop health and progress.
  • Assisting with testing and recording of cotton and grain quality and ensuring safe storage and handling of grain during and after harvest.
  • A commitment to continuous learning; we support your development regardless of your experience level.

Qualifications:

  • Strong focus on safety.
  • Experience in cotton or dryland/broadacre cropping operations and operating large-scale equipment is a plus, but we provide development opportunities.

  • Initiative and self-motivation are your strengths.
  • Possess a current driver’s license and the willingness to obtain a chemical user’s certificate and/or truck license, if needed.
