Position Overview:

As a Farm Hand at Future Green Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in our daily operations. We are seeking an individual with farm operations experience, a passion for sustainability, and a basic understanding of scientific principles. The ideal candidate should be dedicated to excellence and committed to fostering continuous improvement in our processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Seeding of broodstock and production totes.
• Loading and unloading of breeding cages.
• Maintaining a cleaning schedule in breeding rooms.
• Managing breeding attractants.
• Collecting and packaging insect eggs.
• Tote washing.
• Supporting production and R&D by collecting data.
• Assisting all team members in daily operations.

About You:

We are looking for a proven operator who is flexible, collaborative, and takes pride in their work. Key qualifications and characteristics we seek in candidates include:

• Experience in a production, farming, or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Willingness to learn and understand insect biology.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Clear and confident communication skills.
• An interest in sustainability, waste management, and the environment.
• Experience in a biological production system preferred (e.g., poultry, swine, aquaculture, etc.).
