Job Description:

As a Stable Hand at Lindsey Smith Racing, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for the general care of our horses and assisting in their preparation for racing. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing general care for horses, including feeding, grooming, and rugging.
• Tacking up horses and preparing them for work.
• Loading and unloading horses from walkers and trucks.
• Attending barrier trials and races.
• Assisting with general yard duties.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the stables and facilities.
• Collaborating with a team of professionals to maintain high standards of horse care.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with horses is essential.
• Strong horse handling skills and a deep understanding of equine care.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work mornings, afternoons, and weekends as required.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Police Clearance.
